The Respite for All program was launched at St. Thomas the Apostle, Houston (Nassau Bay) as a dementia and caregiver respite ministry, modeled on the national Respite for All network. This program was funded by a Strategic Mission Grant.  Its purpose is to provide a fun, safe, joyful, and faith-rooted community for those living with mild to moderate dementia while offering critical relief and support for their caregivers.

Through worship, art, music, movement, and shared meals, Apollo has become a space of dignity, joy, and healing.  It is a place where families find rest and the many volunteers put their faith into practice by serving their brothers and sisters in Christ that are often overlooked.
